Photography Tips & Guides
EXACTLY how I get my camera bargains — and you can too!
I’m quite adept at bargain hunting, if I do say so myself. It’s a skill I’ve honed through years of being a cheapskate, basically. And I thought it was about time I showed you the ways. Here are my thoughts and tips on hunting down bargain cameras.
HUGE Lumix S5ii and S5iiX Firmware update!
The Lumix S5ii and S5iiX have been updated with some epic new features — some of which are my absolute favourites from the Lumix G9ii — and best of all the update is entirely FREE! Let’s get stuck in with what’s new…
Some GREAT Insta360 Go 3Features No One Talks About…
The Go 3 has been showcased around the Internet as a brilliant, adrenaline-fuelled, mini action camera, but there is so much more to it than that. In fact, I think if you’re looking for a tiny, versatile, truly innovative video camera, this has to be towards the top of your list. I took the Go 3 to Costa Rica for a month. Here are my thoughts.
Lumix 100mm f2.8 — More Than Just Macro

Real Time LUT for Photography?

I’ve used the Lumix S1 for plenty of weddings, pre-wedding shoots, and other paid work now. So here are my thoughts on the Lumix S1 as a wedding photographer’s main camera.
Lumix S1 Review: The Small Things I Love
I finally got the Lumix S1 after teasing myself with it since launch. It’s a bit of a learning curve if you’re coming from micro four thirds, so here are my first impressions and tips if you’ve recently got this camera!
DJI Osmo Pocket Review — Hyperlapses, Vertical Options, Flaws
The DJI Osmo Pocket it a teeny tiny, affordable, stabilised camera. It is small, but is it mighty? I’ve had my Osmo Pocket for a few weeks now, and I’m ready to share my thoughts.
I bought the Osmo Pocket primarily to see if I could make hyperlapses and motion timelapses more quickly and easily. I’ve made some cracking timelapses in the past, but let’s be honest, using and balancing a huge gimbal takes a lot of time and it’s a lot to carry about with you.
